When we send files to the printer. Ofter it doesnt print them all. Of a 10 page document he prints the first couple of pages, then the print job seems to reset and print those pages again. Meaning for example a 10 page document gives a output of 6 times the first 4 pages.
We tried to small files and big files, printing through the netwerk, updated, downloaded new and reinstalled the drivers and connecting directly to the printer, it all gives the same problems.
Anyone knowns what this can be?
ricoh c3003sp printing problems
ColorQube 9201
I have a problem with a Xerox ColorQube 9201 and I have no idea:
Friday it printed and worked perfectly until the second part of the day. Posting to a print job did not want to go out of standby mode, displaying the green screen with the message
"Please wait ... The system is powering up" for 3 hours. I stopped her in the idea that she might be back in the morning. Now it is now showing the same message.
Mechanically, all the sounds associated with the printer's routine are heard.
Any idea?
Google Cloud Print Connector will not start
Hi all,
I have been working with a client, trying to fix cloud print. All of their printers have gone offline and duplicated themselves multiple times. Now Cloud print does not work at all. When I first started looking at this issue, I noticed the Cloud Print Connector Service was stuck on "starting"
I restarted the server, and tried several times to start the service. With no avail I uninstalled both the connector service and the cloud print service. The Cloud print service installed fine. The connector however, with any account I use, will not start even while installing, so it error out with an error of:
"Service 'Cloud Print Connector' failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services"
I have tried running the msi as administrator, and running it as elevated cmd I have tried all the accounts I...
Printers Going Offline
I've got an issue with 3 printers going "offline" randomly. I'm able to ping and telnet to port 9100 on all 3 printers when this happens. I've tried both disabling and enabling SNMP, setting HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\SNMPLegacy to "1", and reinstalling the printers with the same driver. The reason that the driver is important is because these printers are used with NiceLabel, which is licensed per-printer. A printer is seen as a combination of queue name, IP address, and driver. Updating the driver creates a new printer in NiceLabel's eyes, and it takes 7 days for an unused printer to release its license. I also have 7 other printers using the same driver that do not have this issue. They are all using the 2017.1 BarTender driver because NiceLabels' driver doesn't give us all of the options we need for...
Medium duty Color laser network printer with pin printing.
We recently had a staff member have the small color laser printer in their office fail. We have had some discussions within I.T and with the users manager and are leaning towards replacing the color printer with a shared network color laser printer that the department can share. We have a couple reservations with this though:
1. If the printed document is sensitive anyone could grab it, this means we would need something like a way for each person to have a PIN# to allow it to print their job only when they are there. It appears this just needs a printer with some storage, print server may not even be required.
2. The abuse/ misuse of color toners by users that either don't know what they are doing, use up color toner to print documents that don't need color.
We have been a mainly HP shop, but some of our larger copy/printers are Savin/...
GPP Printer Deployment TCP/IP Error Codes (0x80070705 and 0x800703eb)
We have recently implemented a GPP for printer deployment via TCP/IP (Server 2012 R2). We have noticed the many of the local PCs have been getting failed error codes on the deployment of a number of these printers. Looking into the issue and finding some similar articles, I have come across the following MS KB article stating that this has to do with Type 3 vs type 4 printer drivers. The issue with the article is that this seems to relate to server 2008, and trying to find type3 printer drivers for many of the printers installed is proving to be quite difficult.
Has anybody else ran into similar issues before and have you happen to find a workaround for the issue?
I can deploy all these printers okay via a shared printer deployment, but due to a lot of the branch locations, this causes a delay in print times and was requested to fix the...
Konica Minolta C MF335-1 Scan to email error
Hi Guys,
Not too experiencedwith KM copier. Recently, one of the copiers we installed in one of the department's errors outs while trying to do scan to email task.
I have compared the SMTP Email TX setting with another KM copier that does scan to email fine and the settings do look identical. They are installed on the same print server and network.
Users can print fine.
I did tryrestarting the copier but same error.
Have anyone seen this issue before and a possible solution that you may suggest?
Error on the copier while trying to scan to email:
"Scan TX failed. Job is Cancelled"
Attached are the screen shot of current settings:
employee brings in outside hardware
So TL;DR employee brings in a personal printer and wants to install it on our network via ethernet cable to print holiday cards. approved by her manager but not by IT.
So I get a call this morning from an employee, she brought a printer that she owns from home and is requesting a network cable to plug in the printer to our secure network (a hospital network) without the approval from IT. Her manager approved the install of the printer but never consulted the IT Department to see if we would be okay with that. professionally, I want to tell her no (SCREAM "HELL NO"), because its a personal printer I'venever seen before I don'tknow where it been or what it been plugged into and could be a potential security risk(given I'monly a noob at IT just started at my work this year).
If given the same scenariowhat would you do?

'Storing Failed' error for one file from one computer to network-mapped Ricoh
I just had a user being unable to print a particular shared XLSX file to their network-mapped Ricoh MP C6004ex printer. On the printer, it registered a 'Storing Failed' status for each attempt. He could print other XLSX files from the same share location to the same printer. It's a very simple XLSX file. Default print settings were used (i.e. not a 'secure' job). I was also able to print it to that printer at the same time. Both our OSes are Win 10 Pro x64 1803.
'Fix' was to unmap and remap that printer on the workstation. In anticipation of it recurring, has anyone observed this before and has tips?

Another "Printer Offline" topic - Please save me
So here's the long and short of the issue:
Network Printers are all served from a dedicated print server running Server 2012 R2
All desktops are now on Windows 10
Several users that have our Canon MFDs have reported that multiple times during the day they will try to print something and the printer will be saying it's offline on their PC. While they say it's offline I can successfully ping the device and can even send a print job to it successfully from both my laptop and the server itself
Things I've already done:
Updated drivers to the latest available
Set auto sleep to max available (can't seem to turn that off completely)
Made sure the print ports are RAW and not LPR
Disabled SNMP on the port and on the printer itself
Disabled LPD and WSD on the printer
Set SNTP on the printer and made sure time is synced with print server

Kyocera Printer poor quality
Printer: Kyocera FS-C5400DN
ok I must admit we have not used this printer for a while and just tried to plug this up. I had given it a through clean inside.
Every page though comes with the blue thin vertical line. Not sure why. I have done the drum ,LPS cleaning from the panel, but still no help.
More over I am seeing on some pages if its a colour print, the colours just spread a bit.. and dots on the paper..
Anything else I could do, or if you all still think its the cleaning it requires, then which areas should I be focussing on?
Thanks in advance.!!
1 user not populating on printer even with GPO and AD
I've got a Toshiba eStudio255 that is setup within our office that is connected to AD via GPO. My issue is that there is only one user that doesn't populate when he attempts to scan a doc to his email account. I took a look at his AD account and compared it to other users that are populating on the printer and they appear to be fine.
Any idea why only one user wouldn't push to this printer?
Fax Email Forwarding
I have a Ricoh Mp C3003 that is receiving incoming faxes but if failing to forward those faxes to the listed email address. The email address listed is a shared O365 mailbox (fax@domain.com). I have attempted pointing the forwarding email to a dedicated mailbox (user@domain.com) instead of the shared fax mailbox and it still failed to forward to the user's email. I can email the address directly without issues. Any assistance on why this Facsimile error is happening would be great.
The Ricoh Mp C3003 is perpetually giving me an error of 14-01 which according to this link to Ricoh:
http://support.ricoh.com/bb_v1oi/pub_e/oi_view/0001036/0001036377/view/trouble/unv/0026.htm
Means, " The DNS server, SMTP server, or folder specified for transfer was not found, or, the destination for Internet Fax around (not through) the SMTP server could...
Getting a new printer to match current printer output
We've had a printer at my current job from before I started working here that is used to print graphic jobs like flyers. We are in need of another printer for the same purpose. What should I be looking at so that the new printer has the same color output as my current one?
New How-To posted for Designjet T2500 E-MFP scanner error 9.1:10
Ran into this issue yesterday, once the problem was identified it turned from a $1000 repair to a time only repair.

I need a PCL5 (or 5e) driver for Windows 10 64-bit
PCL 6 will NOT work for one of our applications, it has to PCL5 or 5e. HP only offers PCL6. I'm about to try a Win 7 64-bit PCL5 Universal Driver, but would prefer a Windows 10 driver.
Thanks,
Marc
Which print driver settings are used when the printer is added to a server w/ IP
So I am dealing with some rather unruly Zebra mobile printers and I am having some trouble understanding how the drivers work. I think it is more of a fundamental misunderstanding than the printers themselves.
They are mobile printers, added to our print server via IP and shared so we can add them to the shop floor computers so they can print labels directly to the lift drivers. I can set settings on the server, and I can set settings on the local computers, however, I am not sure which settings affect the printer. I would think the hierarchy would be server local pc but it seems like the printer will occasionally honor both, either one or none.
Also do the settings play off of each other? For instance, if I add a horizontal print offset to the server settings and set the same horizontal print offset on the local PC, will the offset...
Printer management software
I recently found out about HP webjet admin. It sounded like a good tool as 99% of our printers are HP. Getting webjet admin setup though while simple the program is rather convoluted. I am starting to add firmware images to it and I was expecting as I did a discovery it would know what devices I have and what firmware to get. Ends up I was wrong so I exported the discovery to a CSV and opened in excell, then I can use that file to manually go through the list of firmware. The interface and the way it runs is also rather strange. I expected a web GUI, but it is like a web GUI that launches some app on the PC. Just a kind of poor system in my book.
That got me thinking maybe there is some other alternative or maybe HP has a better tool I don't know about.
HP MFP - SMTP error, only for fax.
Customer has an HP e62555dn MFP. Device is used for Copy, Print, Scan, and Fax. SMTP is configured to their Office 365 account frontdesk@company.legal
Firmware is latest available online from HP.
Scan to email works great. Incoming faxes are set to archive to the frontdesk@ email. This works great. When faxing from the machine, a confirmation is emailed to the frontdesk@ email. This works without error.
Customer uses the HP SendFax driver to send faxes from desktop. These go through and can be seen in the fax log.
The customer request, within the SendFax driver, to receive an email confirmation to each sender.
This confirmation is NOT received, and in the MFP event log, we see SMTP Protocol Error.
We tested using a GMAIL SMTP server, and all is successful. Are there any settings in Office 365, or at the MFP, that would cause just this...
