I have been wrestling with this printer off and on for almost three weeks now. It is connected to a Dell Optiplex 780. The HDD in the computer failed, so I replaced the HDD and reinstalled the OS, which is when the issue started. Try as I might, I can not get Windows 10 to talk to this printer successfully. Today, I was finally able to convince Windows that it is a printer, not just an unspecified device. I've tried all of the drivers HP has through their website, and none of them seem to work properly. I've tried manually updating to the HP Universal Print Driver (PCL6 and PS). I've attached a screenshot of the drivers currently installed, according to the Printer Properties screen.
