Is there a way to force printers to reset their settings to the default value which is set on the server under "Printing Defaults?"
Let me explain why I'm looking to do this...
We have Xerox WorkCentre copy centers in our facilities. These are installed on our server using the Xerox Global Print Driver. Users have the printers installed through group policy. There are three versions of the Xerox Global Print Driver - PCL5, PCL6, and PostScript. When these printers were initially set up, I used the PCL6 driver. As it turns out, there are some software issues with that version of the driver. When that PCL6 driver is installed, Microsoft Word often locks up with Insufficient Memory errors when opening and printing.
