My Samsung CLX-8640 was a working printer when we removed it from our customer, they removed the HDD for security reasons. We replaced the HDD with one purchased from Samsung for this model but when we start it up we get various XAF AA Service Errors (see attachment for more detail on one that we received). I am able to load Recovery Firmware but these errors prevent me from loading the Regular Firmware, I wiped the drive on my PC and also did error checking and found no issues. I am able to get in Service Mode but if I try and do a Memory Clear it process for hours when it should only take 5 minutes. I have contacted the vendor we purchase from and they are saying that it is a bad board but it seems odd that the machine was working and the only thing replaced was the HDD. I can provide more details if requested, sorry my brain is...
