Network Printer Print Spooler Hangup

I have a really weird issue going on with a HP LaserJet Pro MFP M125 network printer. The printer is on a small network without a print server. Each computer is connected to the printer over a wired network. The printer seems to be working fine then the print jobs stop printing. They show up in the print spooler as printing without an error message but they never print. I eventually have to remove all print jobs and clean out the %SystemRoot%\SYSTEM32\SPOOL\PRINTERS folder. I normally have a couple files that hang up when I delete everything (yes I have the print spooler service stopped.) After restarting the service several times I can get the files to delete. Then the printer goes back to working. Any ideas what could be causing this?
