I have a bit of an urgent printer situation here: A stand-alone Server 2008 R2 64 DC has a network printer (connected to a print server on the LAN) installed on it. The Print Management role is installed on the server.
Windows 7 domain members connect to this printer on the server. Except one Windows 7 computer which for a reason I have not been able to determine cannot see the printer shared from the server.
Browsing the network from this computer, all shared folders on the server are visible, but not the shared printer. The Add Network Printer wizard detects the only other network printer present, but not shared printer on the server. If I enter the host name or share name, the Wizard still does not detect it.
I turned off, then back on, File and Printer sharing on the client NIC Properties. No change. Any suggestions?
