On Friday, we changed our CFO's printer from an old HP P2015 to a newer P2035. I switched The P2015 was on a JetDirect, so I simply swapped the USB cable. Sadly, all the prints came out as garbage PCL code, one line on the top of every sheet. Changed out the JetDirect to an older model, still garbage. Finally, I changed the driver from HP Universal PCL6 to PCL5. Bingo. Everything printed fine.
Today, she comes in with an Excel print out that was garbage again, but full of print. It's not the normal PCL garbage printout.
I removed the printer from the server, removed it from her laptop, bounced the spooler on each, readded the printer to each, and was able to print. After restarting Excel, the printer still prints a full page of garbage.
She said she printed out other Excel sheets earlier today and later Friday and they were fine. Just...
