Printer issue

I have a Dell 5330 connect via USB on Dell opti 7010 running Windows 7 PRO. It shows connected but every time I try to print it errors. No information about the error is given. There were errors about the driver, but I've removed the printers and drivers, downloaded from Dell and re-added still same results trying a couple different drivers. I've also disabled bi-directional printing, it's not shared, and I've restarted the print spooler a few times. We've tried different USB ports all have same result. I also had him print a configurration page just to make sure the printer is working.I'm at a loss. Hopefully someone here can give me some insight as to what I'm missing.
