Switch block a printer? WHY

Hello guyz!

Need your help once more.

We installed a shared Zebra printer (connected to the network) and the switch (3com) seems to block all his outgoing connections.

So here's my diagnosis :

1.The printer, while connected to the switch, is able to be ping by all the host inside the switch but not outside. I tried several ports and nothing seems to work.

2.It doesn't seem like a manageable switch (there is no default ip, haven't found serial port).

3. When the printer is outside that switch, everything works as it should.

4. There is another printer Inside that switch and it works.

5. It ain't a vlan configuration problem, all ip's are okay.

6. Don't have the choice to connect it to the switch as it's a temporary locations for some users while we're growing.

Do you have any idea of what it could be? Maybe a timing problem or something I may forgot to check.

Thanks and sorry for the numerous gramatical errors. I'm doing my best :P (feel free to correct me).

LONG STORY :

Sorry it's a bit confusing. Right now our company is growing at an unbelivable rate so we didn't have the choice to move some users temporary. The consequence is that the users are isolated in a corner of the factory which is about 50 meters away from the nearest switch. We passed a cable that join them with the network and added a 24 ports switch. We have 16 users currently connected on the switch and they do not have any issue. We have 2 printers connected too and they don't have issue. The only issue is that Zebra printer. The printer is pingable when you're plugged in the switch but you can't ping the zebra if you're outside that switch (so the printer can't reach our print server, that's the main problem). But when you connect the printer anywhere else, IT WORKS (WTF).

I tried to plug the zebra in the port of another printer (that works) and it does the same issue.

The Zebra has a static IP address (as all the printers). I'm 75% sure the problem is from a setting in the printer but I just can't find out, the 25% left is from a possible switch possession by a demon. Is there anybody good with Zebra?

(GK410T is the model of the zebra printer).
