The group I support would like to set the printer defaults to black and white. Currently users are printing everything in color because most people have color set as the default. I am currently working on adding all the network printers to a print server and I know I can set this on the print server for each printer. Until then I will have to walk around and touch each computer and set the defaults manually. My question is: If a user selects to print a color job and later goes back to print again won't the application remember their last setting and default back to color? If the set the default to black and white in the main printer preferences in Windows 7, will that override the last used setting inside an application?
