How do you guys handle faxing?
Is it caveman to still rely on analog lines provided by the telco?
We have some records staff who need to send 250+ page documents at times and the receiving party is gubment and can only receive via fax and not through email/PDF.
We often encounter problems during transmit, occasionally the crappy Xerox MFP units we have will get a full memory before the scan is complete, but usually the problems are with sending the document.
We've had a few instances of the document getting to "Sending page 238 of 260" and failing.
I've called the telco and they say there are no issues with the line, inside wiring is good too.
How do you guys handle large faxes?
