We just rolled out a new Windows 7 image to machines that were running XP. Those machines print fine to our printers (Kyocera, various models) normally, but when printing out of IE8, they are fuzzy and somewhat pixelated looking.
I tried printing from machines that had been done with a previous image and they were fine. Though, I did have one machine that printed clearly to all printers she had already installed. I added one to be consistent with the 5 printers I had tested the other machines on. That one printer was fuzzy.
To a point, I think it is something to do with print drivers. However, all people using the same printers (only one print server in this location) would have the same issue if it was drivers. Also, printing directly from the server yielded clean prints.
Has anyone experienced this before? We are using v5.3 of the Kyocera drivers. I'm aware that there is up to v6.2 (I think) and we are looking to update to that in a month or two perhaps. However, I think this issue still needs to be addressed.
Thoughts? Ideas?
