Hoping someone may have some ideas, been working this for a couple weeks and I finally had an outside IT consultant assisting me as well and we have made no progress... at a loss...
- All devices and systems are on the same segment 192.168.1.x
- Issue is not specific to OS (Both Win7 and XP).
- Printers are static IP, not using a print server.
- Can both ping the devices as well as open the web interface on each.
- Have tried printing with the AV disabled (Trend Worry-free)
- Have tried deleting and re-adding via HP software and direct through Windows, no difference.
- There are other network printers that do still work, several large copiers (Sharp, Ricoh, and Samsung), and one newer HP P3015 although another newer one does not work.
- The main culprits have been functioning flawlessly for up to 5 years and are HP P2035n's.
- No error lights, jams, etc on offending printers.
- The issue started all at once, no rhyme or reason to who is affected is who is not (And is not due to user rights, tested full admin vs. user rights)
