Seems like we may be having a paper supply issue, but I figured I'd ask the masses. We have several printers, mostly HP Laserjet 4200 and Laserjet 4300 units. Most are maintained well and have recent (within a year) maint kits/new fusers. All fusers are OEM and not refurb junk.
Recently back in Mid-Sept, 1-2 of the printers started randomly curling sheets. Curling bad enough that the pages roll off the top of the printer and make a mess. This mostly happens on duplex print jobs, where the paper is getting ran through the printer 2-3 times.
I've tried tweaking the fuser settings under paper quality (helped but then jobs not fusing properly), I've tried swapping duplexers (same), but swapping the paper seems to help, then it starts happening again. Putting in thicker/higher quality paper is fine and stops the curling issue.
