Hey there-
I have a request to purchase a color printer for a school art class. They have a $1,000 budget. What printers do you recommend? I want it to have built in network (10/100 at least), WiFi isn't too important. I am thinking with the budget that inkjet is the way to go as color lasers are north of that price usually.
They have a massive Epson scanner - so I don't need all in one capabilities.
Any suggestions? I might use any left over cash to buy them some extra ink so that they start off better than just the teaser dumb little cartridges that seem to ship with most printers.
Is there a decent photo printer that might work for this? I don't know how important large format is in the selection.
