Laptop is a Sony Vaio, just cleaned & tuned. This printer "used to" print from PC fine. Started doing this a few weeks before I saw the laptop. It is connected via wi-fi (modem/router).
I updated the software/driver package-- same thing. Un-installed the entire shebang (including the reg entries) & tried, tried again. No dice.
What you get is a print-out on which about every third line is missing either the top or bottom of the line of print. A few lines are fine. I tried printing from Notepad-- same thing.
However, if doing a straight-copy from the scanner bed, the copy is perfect.
After-thought while I was at the person's place was to try on USB, but they had no cable (&, of course, I had sold the last & didn't replace it!). But since they had been using it fine previously via wi-fi, I sort of back-seated that.
