Our large copier for the office is a Konica Minolta Bizhub 920. We had a user who needed to copy a few thousand pages and they had several jams during the process.
I've been asked to find a good replacement for the unit. Since the number of jams is perceived to be higher than we want, this will obviously one of my criteria for finding a replacement.
That leads me to wonder how often a copier/printer SHOULD jam. Is there an industry resource for this? Are paper jams considered a failure, to be included in the MTBF stats?
