First off, I hate printers.
With that out of the way, our Xerox 5135 lease is coming to an end so we are looking at leasing another unit. This printer will be used on our (relatively clean) assembly floor for printing off assembly prints. Requirements are as follows:
1. 10,000 pages per month average usage
2. 3 print trays (plain 8.5x11, plain 11x17, 8.5x11 labels)
3. No color/finishing needed
4. Ethernet connectivity
I have quotes in hand for a Xerox 5755, Ricoh C5502, and a Canon iR 4251. All seem to be semi comparable but it's sort of difficult to draw that conclusion completely. Lease costs and coverage is about the same. Question is - how the heck do I actually decide on which one is better/more reliable? Any recommendations? I prefer Xerox as we have a few other MFPs that have generally been good, but feedback on the 5755 online...
