So we've had some ongoing issues with HP print drivers automatically defaulting to A4 printing when location setting for "Language for non-Unicode programmes" is set to anything other than English (US). Now this would be such a problem if we didn't have a our office software (ProLaw) crap out on us if we don't use International English date entry format.(M/dd/yyyy). Everything would simple if we could choose our language, geographical location and paper size(s) used during printer setup. For our firm, located in Canada, Canada uses 8.5 x 11 paper sizes, not A4. And this is getting annoying, since from my point of view the advances in OS technology and localisation assistance, HP fails to address paper size by geographic location. (North Am, South Am, EU, UK, Oceania)
So if anyone from HP is reading this thread, get your heads out from...
