Problem connecting to a network printer. Error 0x000000d

workstations : windows 7 x64

Hi,

I just added Canon iR ADV C5240 printer along with the printer driver (x64) to the printer server on Windows server 2008 R2. When I go to any workstation running windows 7 x64 and try to add the printer, I am getting the following errors:

Connect to Printer - Windows cannot connect to the printer.
Operation failed with error 0x0000000d.

Tried this posthttps://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/947236 and didn't help me.

Note:I am able to add the sameprinter in any of the Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows Server 2012 R2 without any issuebut not on Windows 7 Workstations.
