We have quite a few Lanier LD040 MFP in our office. The issue a user is having is they are trying to change the printer setup in an application to print legal instead of letter. For every printer except the LD040 this works. With the LD040, the setup reverts instantly back to the original setup. Now we already found a work around for this, obviously going into the printer properties under Devices and Printers works fine. The issue is pretty simple: users are incompetent and would call the Help Desk every time the needed to change the size of the paper/the printer's are not functioning properly. I want to say that this has something to do with either the printer or the driver, as other printers are working just fine, yet all the LD040's are behaving this way.
