There is one workstation in our office that when printing to any network printer the print jobs are running extremely slowly. It will take 30 minutes to send 25Mb of data to the printer (see attached screenshot Size:512 KB/11.9MB). Example printer is an HP Colorlaserjet 4525 on a Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Print Server, but this issue is applying to all network printers.
Workstation is set with a static IP address. All network devices are on one network segment.
Troubleshooting already performed.
1. Printed directly to printer via IP Address instead of print server.
2. Verified that user is not experiencing network slowdowns transferring files or accessing other network resources.
3. Re-added printer with different drivers.
4. Plugged user’s workstation into a separate switch port.
