For the past 4 weeks I've been battling an issue as result of us implementing a print server. As a result, my boss wants me to remove the server and go back to the manual way of doing things. I REALLLLLY don't want to move backwards to doing this manually.
The scenario:
We have a Server 2008 DC that I installed the print server role on. We have mostly Xerox Printers. The printers I'm deploying to Windows 7 64bit workstations are as follows:
2 - Xerox Workcentre 5755, Xerox Phaser 6130N, Xerox Phaser 4510N, Xerox Phaser 3635, HP Officejet Pro 8100 and an HP Laserjet M2727.
This print server resides at our corporate headquarters. The printers listed above are physically at another office in NYC. We have a DC at the remote office, but its an old Windows 2003 box, and to my knowledge print management does not exist; it...
