I had an old dot matrix printer I was using until it died. I also had a big box of paper I was given with the printer. I thought was just normal paper, then realized it was 3 pages stacked per sheet. It seems to be some sort of old carbon paper.
Anyway the printer died today ribbon broke, head seems to have lost it's alignment so I just put it in the recycle bin. I have about 3/4 this 1500 sheet box of paper left. Its kind of a pain to use as scratch paper, I have a big old laserjet 8100 I was given because it jammed every morning.
I thought if I break the pages apart and lose the folds, and leave the edge ribbons to hold the 3 sheets together would the laser printer print anything but the top sheet? would the carbon material if it fits cause problems going through the printer?
