Morning
I have a HP LaserJet 9040 mfp that I am setting up.
I just want to test the print so have put the power in but not attached the external paper tray.
There is power going to the device as can hear the fans going but the display is blank, no lights showing.
Does the external paper tray have to be attached to the printer for this all to go properly or would it be another issue?
