We purchased an HP LaserJet Pro M401n, since we have a lot of them and it works well, seems like a very solid basic printer for a good price. The accounting folks are using it to print checks, and they said they can't use the main paper tray because when they put the stack of checks in the tray, it ends up feeding them in the reverse order based on the check number.
Is there any way to tell before hand how a printer will feed the paper, so that you can buy a printer that will work for check printing? Should there be a setting that can make this work as desired (like print on opposite side of paper, print checks in reverse order, etc)?
